If you are looking to get IPC certified or plan to in the future, then one of the first steps you need to take is deciding which training centre you will choose to get certified with. This can seem like a daunting task, so in order to make your life easier we put together this article. Here we’ll share the unique benefits of getting IPC certified with us at The Electronics Group.

We will give an overview of our comprehensive offerings that range from expert-led IPC and skills training courses to flexible course schedules and our additional services.

5 Reasons to Get IPC Certified with The Electronics Group:

1 – We are the only UK IPC Training Company to have 2 Training Centres

We are the first UK company to open two authorised IPC training centres. Our primary location is in Leeds, West Yorkshire. However, we have recently opened a second training centre in Cirencester. Both of our training centres are equipped with all the tools necessary to ensure that every delegate receives the best hands-on experience alongside their theoretical learning.

Despite already being able to facilitate customers nationwide, we felt it was important to open a second training centre to allow our customers in the south of the country a more convenient option for their training needs. At The Electronics Group we take pride in making our courses as accessible as possible to as many interested professionals as possible.

2 – We are flexible to work around you

Understanding the busy schedules of professionals in the industry, we offer flexible course dates that can fit into your busy life. We believe in accommodating our delegates’ needs, ensuring that education does not become a burden but a practical and attainable goal.

We have a course calendar on our website, with our current available course dates that you can join. Alternatively, discuss your requirements with our team and we can work to find dates that suit you.

This flexibility in scheduling reflects our commitment to making professional growth accessible and stress-free. We strive to support your career development journey every step of the way.

3 – We have a wide range of courses available

When it comes to the training itself, we have a wide range of courses available. We can deliver all of the main IPC certifications including: IPC A-600, IPC A-610, IPC WHMA A-620, IPC 7711/7721 and the IPC J STD 001. We can deliver each of these to the level of CIS, CSE or CIT. You can read more about the difference in the levels of certification here.

In addition to our IPC courses, we have also developed an extensive range of bespoke electronics skills training courses. These courses cover a range of topics from through-hole and surface mount soldering techniques to cable, wire terminations and harness assembly and more. You can see our full range of electronics skills courses here

Our skills courses are designed with both beginners and more advanced delegates in mind, so you will find no matter what you are looking for we can help you fill the gap in your skill set.
