It’s been a busy couple of months at The Electronics Group, with several exciting developments taking place across the business. From new training availability and improvements to our Leeds training centre to welcoming a new trainer and achieving JOSCAR registration, here’s a look at what’s been happening.
IPC WHMA-A-620 Revision F Training Now Available
We’re pleased to share that training to IPC WHMA-A-620 Revision F is now available.
As the industry standard for cable and wire harness assemblies, IPC WHMA-A-620 provides the requirements and acceptance criteria needed to ensure quality, reliability and consistency in manufactured assemblies. With the release of Revision F, organisations can now ensure their teams are trained to the latest requirements and best practices.
Training is available at our IPC training centres in Leeds, Cirencester and Aberdeen, as well as on-site at customer locations across the UK and internationally.
If your organisation manufactures, inspects or works with cable and wire harness assemblies, now is a great time to review your team’s certifications and training requirements.
Improvements Continue at Our Leeds Training Centre
Work continues at our Leeds training centre as part of our ongoing investment in the facilities used by our delegates.
One of the latest improvements is our brand-new delegate break room, which is already in use and proving popular with attendees. The new space provides a bright, comfortable area where delegates can relax, enjoy refreshments and catch up between training sessions.
Alongside this, our main training classroom is currently undergoing significant improvements. The room has been expanded to create a larger learning environment, is being redecorated and will feature upgraded presentation facilities.
These improvements are designed to create an even better training experience for delegates while ensuring our facilities continue to match the high standards of training delivered by our team.
Further improvements are still planned, and we’ll be sharing more updates as the project progresses.

Introducing Kieran, Our Newest IPC Trainer
Our team continues to grow and we’re delighted to welcome Kieran as the newest member of our IPC training team.
Kieran joins us with a strong background in electronics and previous experience in the Royal Engineers. His technical knowledge, practical experience and enthusiasm for the industry make him a valuable addition to the business.
As demand for IPC training continues to grow across the UK, expanding our training team allows us to support more customers while maintaining the high standards our delegates expect.
We’re looking forward to introducing Kieran to many of our customers over the coming months as he begins delivering training courses and supporting delegates throughout their learning journey.

The Electronics Group Is Now JOSCAR Registered
We’re pleased to share that The Electronics Group is now JOSCAR registered.
JOSCAR is a recognised supplier accreditation used by organisations across the aerospace, defence and security industries. Achieving registration helps demonstrate our commitment to quality, compliance and maintaining high standards across the business.
For customers operating in highly regulated environments, it provides additional confidence that they are working with a trusted and accredited partner.
As we continue to grow and support organisations throughout the electronics industry, achieving JOSCAR registration marks another positive milestone for the business and reflects our ongoing commitment to delivering the highest standards of service and support.
Looking Ahead
From investing in our facilities to growing our team and achieving new accreditations, we’re continuing to invest in the areas that matter most to our customers.
We’d like to thank all of our customers, delegates and partners for their continued support, and we look forward to sharing more updates in the coming months.
If you’d like to discuss IPC or electronics skills training, inspection services or IPC standards, our team are always happy to help.
